Cally Trench has been drawing her hands every day since 5th August 2023.

In the first year of the project (2023-24), Cally drew her hands for exactly one hour. In the second year of the project (2024-25), the time she allowed herself each day was reduced to 45 minutes. In the third year (2025-26), the time was reduced to 30 minutes. Currently, in this fourth year of the project (2026-27), she is allowing herself exactly 23 minutes.

The drawings are all life-size from life, drawn using both hands, in ink (Rotring Tikky Graphic 0.1 pen) on watercolour paper (Fabriano Studio Satin hotpress 300gsm), 23 x 31 cm.
