Cally Trench: recent drawings

These recent drawings in ink on paper show landscapes from above, and are drawn from memory and imagination, making references to maps, board games and crime scenes glimpsed on the television from helicopter footage.

Board Game is both a drawing and a real board game. It is a fast, playable game for four people, in which the members of four families venture out of their suburban houses into the nearby wood and attempt to survive murderous attacks by their neighbours and toxic ponds.
