GEOGRAPHY

Cally Trench's Zoom drawings have been chosen for the Geography exhibition at Stroud House Gallery, Station Road, Stroud, Gloucestershire GL5 3AP, from Wednesday 9th April to Friday 9th May 2008.

ZOOM and GROUND LEVEL

The complete drawings and photographs that make up Zoom and Ground Level are being shown at Wycombe Museum, Priory Avenue, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, for six months from 22nd May 2008. Entry free. A guided tour of the area shown in the drawings, conducted by Cally Trench, will take place on Sunday 13th July. For further details, contact Wycombe Museum: 01494 421895.

THE GREAT PURPOSE

Cally Trench is also taking part in The Great Purpose, an exhibition at the Arts Pavilion in Mile End Park, London in October 2008. The exhibition is of work made in response to the 'algomaxim' by the Group of Seven that the 'great purpose of landscape art is to make us at home in our own country.'

SKETCHBOOKS

Following on from the Sketchbook Circle, Cally Trench is currently sharing sketchbooks with artist Alex Dewart, artist Lis Mann, and poet Lorraine Pepper-McCrudden.

MARKS ON SURFACES

Cally Trench is curating an exhibition about marks on surfaces (including paper, canvas, skin and land), involving eleven artists: Jacqueline Ashmore, Tânia Bandeira Duarte, Alan Franklin, Frances Anne Greenough, Estelle Holland, Patrick Jeffs, Philip Lee, Lis Mann, Cally Trench, Imogen Welch, and Mary Yacoob.

AT PLAY

Cally Trench is also in the early stages of planning an exhibition based around ideas of play.
